Jobs2 Ltd. is not a recruitment agency. We run Jobs2.com, where recruiters post job adverts, for which you can apply using our online process.
As such we cannot accept CVs emailed to us, and we do not hold any further details about any advertised jobs or applications. If you need this information, please contact the agency advertising the job directly, by clicking their logo in the job advert, or using the Recruiter Index.
I'm having trouble uploading my CV. What am I doing wrong?
Please ensure that you are trying to upload the correct format. We only accept Microsoft® Word 97-2003 format documents with a '.doc' extension, not the new Microsoft® Word 2007 XML-format documents with a '.docx' file extension.
An error about an incorrect MIME type, if you are using the correct format as detailed above, might be indicative that the document is open elsewhere. Ensure that the file is not open in any other program (ie. Microsoft® Word) and then try uploading again.
How do I alter my job alert settings?
Once you've signed in to your account, click the 'Edit' button at the bottom of the 'My Jobs2' page. You can then change your selections in the 'Email Settings' section, and then click the 'Update' button.
I've now got a job, how do I close my account?
We don't provide a method for completely remove an account, as standard. We recommend that you make your account dormant by:
deleting any CVs you have uploaded, or setting them to 'Private' so that recruiters cannot see them and therefore cannot contact you;
changing your 'Jobs-By-Email' setting to 'Never' rather than 'Daily' or 'Weekly'.
This method has the same effect as deleting your account, without the hassle of having to register and fill out all your information again, should you ever need to search for jobs in the future.
How can I stop receiving your newsletters?
We try to send out as relevant information as possible to candidates using our newsletters, but some people may prefer not to have our job suggestions in their inbox. All you have to do is click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter. This will prevent our newsletters system from being able to send you any emails in future. Should you wish to receive our newsletters again, just drop us an email using the form below. Don't forget you can always get copies of our past newsletters from the link at the bottom of every page.
